Christmas is Coming!

I know, I've said it! The dreaded 'C' word. Although it may be the last day of August, Christmas is not too far away - just 4 months in fact! People have already turned their minds to Christmas shopping and, as a crafty business, you always have to stay one step ahead.
I have spent most of this rather glorious summer crocheting woolly hats, scarves and mitts. At times it was rather warm work, but now I've uploaded my designs to my Folksy shop, ready to be purchased and made to order.
Below, you can see some of my designs. To see them all, hop on over to my Folksy shop.

Making for Me

When you make to sell, you can often forget to make for yourself! As Christmas (yes I said it!!) approaches, I've been busy working on a range of beautiful scarves, hats, mitts, accessories and decorations and haven't had time to crochet for me.
So, seeing as it's Bank Holiday weekend here in the UK, I thought I'd start a project for me. I'm making a cardigan by Red Heart in some 100% Sirdar Freedom Spirit yarn  I bought from The Black Sheep Craft Barn a while ago. I'm making it a little smaller and may add pockets and toggle buttons.
I will post pictures once it's finished!

A Face Lift!

You've probably noticed that I've given the blog a bit of a makeover!

As with all things, what you think won't take too long, took a lot longer than I imagined. However, I think it was time well spent and I'm happy with the end result.

The pages, where you can find extra goodies such as details of my workshops and, in the not to distant future, tutorials, are much easier to see and navigate.  Also, the right hand menu bar is much clearer now with links to my Twitter feed and options to follow and share!

Of course, I have endeavoured to make sure that things are super with the blog but, if you spot any issues or anything I've missed, please let me know!

Until next time,

Sarah x
